About Deborah
Deborah Lawwill is a professional writer with a heavy background in fiction and Japanese-style comics. Her areas of expertise in non-fiction topics include New Age, Asian culture, career advice for full-time freelancers, and personal finance. Along with freelance writing she also tutors GED students, high school students, and college students in reading and writing.
Deborah currently holds a certification in web design from Pinellas Technical Education Center. She has attended several professional-educational seminars and is also actively working towards her Bachelor of Arts in English from American Public University.
During her childhood she ventured out as a young entrepreneur, coming up with creative ways to generate income towards a manga addiction that her conservative parents would not fund. Today she is the owner of a small writing firm called Quill & Ink by Deborah which takes on a variety of projects from corporate and private clients.
She is a frequent blogger who blogs about her adventures as a freelancer and some things she enjoys. She is a video game enthusiast and a manga enthusiast. She is currently working on a seven-year project which is a manga that she has titled Solemn Wind. She plans on self-publishing her manga in 2011.

This blog is meant to provide helpful information for freelancers of any trade. It was originally a variety show of sorts until it’s focus shifted to the many ups and downs of freelancing. Deborah shares her experiences with others and gladly offers helpful information that comes from insight, knowledge, and wisdom.
